An overview of the New York area morning 8 am

Credits appear as we go through a series of scenes

Morning traffic

Crowd of people crossing the streets

People getting and fighting for taxies, buses and the subway

After every short scene the camera will go back to the overview shot

Once the last scene is done, at the overview scene an helicopter sound occurs and finally the title appears on the screen and the then the helicopter shows on the screen with the message on it that says "Amherst New " on its tail.

Helicopter turns to the left as its directs towards another area

Dissolve to:

INT HOUSE MOMENTS LATER

New York City

Very elegant living room with a lot of glass figurines and top off the line furniture. Very high ceiling and tile floors

Male Voice

Lets go people, its going to be late

Camera meets Patrick "the voice" a 36-year-old ARMY Captain. A white male, about 73 inches tall black hair, 175 on the weight. He is wearing his uniform.

Billy (from another room)

He appears on the screen

Wheres your mom?

Billy

She is waiting on the van, I think she is talking with the realtor

He walks towards the door as his dad is finishing packing

Outside

Red van, running is park on the driveway as Billy rolls out on his bike to look for Shawn

Marla (mom, from the van)

Billy

Billy continues as finally the camera losses him

Back in the van

Marla picks up the phone

Camera moves away as it follows a pack of birds traveling south

INT HOUSE HOURS LATER

Town of Amherst, NY

A blonde beautiful girl lies in bed wearing a set of white bra and panties. In moments the alarm clock goes off, it is 10:45am

She reaches out to stop the alarm and finally does

She gets up and stretches herself

Clara (the girl)

Im dead tired

She walks towards her dresser and pulls out a towel and a white and black shirt. She heads to the shower where the camera will follow her and view her as she takes her clothes before taking a shower from the bottom up. Finally she enters the shower as we see her from behind

Shower turns on as she sings "Madonnas song Like a Virgin"

EXT TOWN OF AMHERST LATER

Patricks family van drives up into town as several people around look at them, signal of knowing that they are from out of town

Inside the van

Patrick

Well guys we here

Billy

Yeah, they know we here alright

Marla

I know we will be ok here

Patrick

How you are doing Shawn?

The camera shows where Shawn is sitting, alone out at the back seat we just see his legs up to mid tights.

Billy

I think he is sleep

The van pulls into parking in front of the ARMY recruiters station

Patrick comes out of it and grabs his briefcase, walks around the passenger side and kisses his wife

Patrick

Come back to pick me up around

He looks on his watch that shows 11:15am

Patrick (cont.)

She climbs over the driver side to drive

Marla

Ill be back for you

They take off as Patrick walks into the building while two soldiers are coming out and salute him.

Helicopter sound

Patrick looks up as the helicopter lands blocks from the building while a beautiful brunet comes out of it as he looks

Patrick enters the building while she does too

The camera now focuses on four busses that are arriving to town, they all stop and park by the city hotel as now the camera shows a sign above the hotel that reads "3rd Annual Safety First Convention"

INT AMHERST NEWS BUILDING LATER

The woman the Patrick was looking enters an office and sits as we see her name "Gloria Palladriaga" on the glass door from the outside

Phone rings

She picks it up

Gloria

Amherst new this is Gloria can I help you

Gloria

Hey Tony whats up?

Pause

Oh they here, ok thanks Ill be there in two hours

She hangs up the phone while someone knocks on the door

The helicopter pilot comes in

Not really but I need someone to go with me to the hotel and cover the convention

EXT HOUSING DEVELOPMENT LATER

As Marla drives up into the street another vehicle, a Ford Explorer, red leaves containing Clara and her dad

Her and Billy cross eyes while appears that no one else is in the back of the van

Well I already like this town mom

Marla

I just hope we can make Shawns life better in this place

Someone coughs as we see the shadow raising, it is Shawn, but we still not able to see him

As they approach the end of the street they see a car park up front of a empty lot and a guy removing a for sale sign from it

He notices the van, puts the sign inside his truck and walks towards the van

Marla rolls her window down as Pete (the guy) approaches her while someone comes storming out of the van through the other side

Marla

Shawn, were you going?

Billy

I get him mom

Billy runs to get his brother

Marla

Oh no problem, who was that?

It was my son, he does not do well with new people plus it has been a long trip for him

Pete

Ok anyway my name is Pete and I guess you are Marla. This is your site and is ready for you guys to start construction when you guys are ready. I just need for you to sign this document and Ill be on my way

She signs the documents as the camera moves up towards the woods were we see on a very fast pace someone running while someone else is running behind. We not able to see either person, we just hear the steps and breathing.

INT TOWN HOTEL LATER

As Gloria enters the convention room, full of people, someone approaches her quickly; it is the Director of the convention

My name is Gloria from Amherst News, where we going to set up

Director

Oh Im so sorry, they probably did not tell you but this year we will not have the press, it will be a close convention with reports from us to the outside only by phone or by appointments set up by me and only me

Gloria

Thats suck, I mean I set up my day for this crap, we suppose to be the safest town in America and I can even report on a safety first convention. What a bunch of crap

She walks away

Gloria

Outside the hotel

Patrick seems to be upset as he is sitting on a bench just outside the hotel while talking on the celphone with his wife

There no rooms available for the weekend because some fucking safety convention

Well we have to go back to close the deal on the other house. Today is the 19th, Friday so we will be back on the 22nd, Monday, then we should be ok

Well I get a tent and some field equipment from the office so they can stay at the house site until Monday when we come back. It will be good for Shawn, specially

Ok Im going to leave a note for Billy, he went to get Shaw into the woods so they going to have to wait for us here

Patrick

Good, pick me up at the office, Ill be there getting the stuff that they going to need

Marla

Gloria walks by Patrick as he looks again, this time she will look at him

Patrick

Gloria

How can I have a reservation with number and paid and now they cancel my shit, whats up with that

Well I was suppose to cover this crap and they send me out so we just have to deal with this some how at the safest town in America

EXT WOODS LATER

Billy finally stops and looks around and sees Shawn sitting on a rock. He appears to be naked but a very bright light erupting from him keep us from see him completely naked.

Shawn

I dont know

Billy

Ok take my jacket and lets go mom is waiting

Billy takes of his jacket and tosses it to Shawn

Moments later we see them both walking away from the woods as they basically look just like as seen from the rear.

INT CLARAS HOUSE LATER

Clara just arrive to the house and change to go for a run

Clara

Mom Im going for a run, let dad know when he come in, you know how he is

Thelma (the mom)

Ok honey, be careful

Door opens and closes

Outside she begins to run as Marla and Patrick pulls up to the house site while the boys come in as well. She looks to there direction and quickly Shawn gets in the van

Marla

Are you ok son?

Camera focuses on the back sit as Shawn lies there and the lights overlap the seat edge and then they go dimmer and dimmer to dull finally

Shawn (very low and weak voice)

Im ok mother

Billy

Damn that girl looks good

Marla

Hey, Im still here you know

Patrick

Live him alone, he is a man and man got needs ok

They smile

Ok are we going to the hotel now?

Patrick

Well not really, they have some kind of convention going on in town and all rooms are full

Billy

I though you had a reservation paid for it and everything

Patrick

They cancel my shit

Well you guys will stay here, we brought a tent and everything else that you guys will need for this weekend until we come back Monday

Billy

What about food and showers?

I know there is a river out there in the woods and there is a store to the right of the corner of this block. Five minutes from here

Thats sucks what about Shawn?

Patrick

They begin to unpack the stuff for the boys while Shawn again gets out and wonders into the woods

Moments later in the woods, near the river

River sound as someone dove into it; its Clara as she swims naked while Shawn approaches wearing Billys jacket and nothing else

Shaw sees Clara and she acts like someone is watching

She looks around and Shawn disappears into the woods

Clara

It probably was a damn animal

Back at the house site moments later

The tent is set up as Shawn comes back and rapidly gets inside

Billy

Billy opens the tent

Damn did you see a ghost or something?

He closes it back

Billy

Well I guess this is it, we got money, place to sleep, I guess we will be all right.

He looks on his watch

Billy

Damn is almost four already, I tell you what, why I dont go with you guys so you can drop me off by the store to get some food and I walk back

Marla

You think Shawn will be ok?

Patrick

He will be ok; Ill see you guys Monday

He walks to the van and start it while waiting for his wife Marla

Marla

Let me see Shawn real quickly

She walks into the tent and in seconds the inside of it gets very bright for a few seconds

Finally she comes out as Billy is walking in with the last couple of bags

Billy

Let me put this inside and Ill be over

Marla gets in the van as the camera moves away from there, flys over the city and ends outside the city hall building while people walk by as well as entering and coming out of the building

INT CITY HALL BUILDING LATER

Assembly of the city officials is in effect at this moment. The governor, Glen Mack, and his aids are among the presents to discuss what will be done upon the convention is finish.

Police chief stands up

Ok ladies and gentlemen, lets get this started. If everything goes well and it better be ok, we will be the safest town to live in America, which means recognition by others, tourism and money from the USA government. As far as my department, the police, there is no major cases to worry about it so we need to know if any one knows anything that we need to know or be prepared just in case they know something, this is very important.

For the next few moments other government official will stand and report the same, no reports or news

EXT CONVENIENCE STORE LATER

As Billy walking from the store towards the tent a fuel tanker drives by him very fast

Billy

He continues as the camera moves towards the sky and the goes back as Billy now is closer to the tent now

A huge explosion occur as Billy looks up while Shaw comes out of the tent glowing because he is wearing clothes and also looks up

Neighbors come out to look as well

Billy

Get inside Shawn

He does and Billy gets inside the tent

Damn, that was a loud explosion, I hope everything is ok

Shawn

Me too, Im hungry

Billy
